Office Holders

Margaret is the Chair person and leads the administration of the Sutton Valence Choral Society and heads the Executive Committee.

Chris is the Secretary and is responsible for the administration of the choir's committee and the preparation of minutes of committee meetings and the AGM

Andrew is the Treasurer for Sutton Valence Choral Society and is responsible for all financial matters including the collection of member's fees, the payment of bills and maintenance of the accounts.

Jane is the Coordinator: Membership & Friends; Orchestra Recruitment for SVCS. Jane maintains the records of members and updates contact details as well as liaising with the friends and supporters of the Society. The post is also responsible for recruiting players for the orchestra at our concerts.

Laura assists the Membership and friends coordinator and also has responsibility for the provision of programmes for choir concerts

If you need tickets for one of our concerts, have lost or mislaid your ticket or have any questions about tickets then Pamela is the person to contact.

Elaine is responsible for publicising Sutton Valence Choral Society in a variety of media and encouraging individuals and companies to sponsor Sutton Valence Choral Society and our events.

Mary organises the details of putting on choir concerts including timings, liaising with the venue and advertising.

Debbie liaises with our chosen charity on behalf of Sutton Valence Choral Society, to maximise the relationship between us and seeks to recruit additional members to the choir.

Jo coordinates catering for our events, for example ensuring that our soloists and orchestra are well looked after when they rehearse and perform with us.

Anthony is the Music Director for Sutton Valence Choral Society. The Music Director leads at rehearsal helping us to hone our performance and make the most of the glorious music that we sing. Anthony also conducts at our performances during the year.

Mark is our Accompanist who assists us at our rehearsals playing the piano and plays at our concerts.

Margaret is the choir Librarian and maintains the choir's library of music. The Librarian also hires music and hires it out to choir members, at a nominal fee, for each of the pieces of music that we sing.
